| U.S. President George W. Bush refused to "negotiate with myself in public" today after taking himself
hostage in the Oval Office Monday, December 20, 2004. "We are making progress, but it's hard work." said the President. "We're not sure what my demands are yet, we're still in
the early stages of negotiationing." Secret Service agents, stunned by the hostage taking, quickly recovered and surrounded themselves.
